Maria Leticia Saldua, DVM

One of Dr.Saldua's favorite things in Veterinary Medicine is the Science behind being a Veterinarian and the Art of finding the best possible option for her patients. This is exemplified by the loving relationship that clients have with their furry family members and being able to provide the care they need to live their healthiest lives. She has been working in a profession she has admired since she was a child and has become licensed as a Veterinarian. She has been working at the Round Lake Animal Hospital since August 2022 where she has been dealing with every aspect of veterinary medicine from "routine" wellness exams and preventives to emergencies and life-saving procedures. Dr.Saldua, along with her husband Jon, have a very spoiled pitbull named Abby here in illinois and the rest of the fur babies are in Southern State which they plan on living in once she decides that it is time to "slow down and smell the roses." She enjoys certain activities outside of spending a lot of time at work like gardening, enjoying the fruits of her labor, road trips when she finds the time (and energy), cooking for family and time on the shooting range.
